Universal Robots

Universal Robots is the Danish pioneer of collaborative industrial robots (cobots), founded in 2005 in Odense. The company commercialized the first viable cobot in 2008 and has since deployed over 100,000 cobots globally across its UR3, UR5, UR10, and UR16 product lines. Acquired by Teradyne in 2015 for $285M, it operates as part of the Teradyne Robotics division.
