Editorial standards
HumanoidMegaHub covers one industry: humanoid robots, the companies building them, and the people funding them. This page explains how we report, where our data comes from, and what we do when we get something wrong.
Who we are
HumanoidMegaHub is edited by John Koetsier, a Forbes senior contributor and host of the TechFirst podcast, who has covered technology for more than two decades.
Every story carries the name of the person who wrote it, and every author has a profile page.
How we report
We talk to the people involved. When a story quotes someone, the quote is verbatim, and we say how we got it: an interview, a podcast conversation, a press release, a filing or a public post.
We link to our sources in the story itself, so you can check them.
When a company makes a claim we can't verify, such as a robot's speed, payload, price or number of deployments, we say it's the company's claim.
Opinion is labelled as opinion. When we think a product is overhyped or a claim doesn't add up, we say so, and we say why.
Our data
The robot, company and investor databases are compiled from company announcements, product pages, regulatory filings, funding databases, news coverage and our own reporting. We use software, including AI tools, to collect and organize that information at scale. A person reviews corrections and editorial changes, and human edits take priority over automated updates.
Specs are manufacturer figures unless we say otherwise. Rankings and reports explain their methodology in each report.
AI tools help with research, transcription and data work. Stories are written and edited by people, and every story is reviewed before it's published.
Independence and conflicts of interest
HumanoidMegaHub makes money from advertising and sponsorships, from company subscriptions (which let companies manage and enhance their own profiles) and from the Humanoid Robotics Expo.
None of these buy coverage. Advertisers and sponsors don't see stories before publication, and paying for a profile doesn't change a company's place in our rankings, reports or news coverage.
Sponsored content is always labelled as sponsored.
When we have a relationship with a company we write about, such as a sponsor, a consulting client or a personal investment, we disclose it in the story.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. Corrections are noted at the bottom of the story with the date and what changed. Minor fixes like typos are corrected without a note.
Companies can update their own profile data through a verified company account. We review changes to facts that matter, like funding, specs and leadership, before they appear.
