PAL Robotics has launched the TIAGo Pro Arm, a standalone seven-degree-of-freedom robotic manipulation platform based on ROS 2, aimed at researchers working on robot learning, AI, and physical AI. The Barcelona-based company is presenting the new system at IROS 2026 in Pittsburgh, running September 27 to October 1.
The Humanoid Robots Summit Europe 2026 in Stuttgart brought together over 1,000 specialists from 500+ companies to discuss the commercialisation of humanoid robots, with the market already estimated at $2.4 billion in pre-orders. British company Humanoid announced a partnership with Bosch for series production of the HMND 01 robot at Bosch's Bühl plant starting August 2027, while German supplier Schaeffler committed to deploying 1,000-2,000 humanoid robots by 2032.
Comau has deployed a fulfillment system using its MyCo collaborative robots for Decathlon's e-commerce operations as part of the MASTERLY European initiative. The system combines ROS 2-based software, advanced sensors, vision-based object recognition, and modular grippers to autonomously handle picking, handling, and palletizing tasks across variable product flows. Comau noted that knowledge gained from the project will contribute to the evolution of its MyCo platform and broader intralogistics capabilities.
