LG Electronics is targeting home humanoids around 2030, following initial development for academic, public-sector and manufacturing customers. Its strategy combines robots with appliances designed to work together, while the company reports partial robotics data-factory operations, actuator mass-production preparations and a roughly 500,000-hour real-and-simulated training-data ambition developed with NVIDIA. LG disclosed neither a consumer price nor a firm home-humanoid launch date, and a separate next-generation bipedal platform remains planned for an early-2027 unveiling.
LG Electronics raised its 2026 robot-training data target from 100,000 to 500,000 hours ahead of full-scale Data Factory operations in the fourth quarter, accelerating its physical-AI work with Nvidia. The company plans to establish itself in manufacturing and logistics robotics before launching an affordable home humanoid in 2030, while a bipedal humanoid co-developed with Nvidia is targeted for unveiling in the first quarter of next year. Separately, LG Electronics' data-center cooling orders exceeded 3 trillion won, and third-quarter revenue reached 23.8241 trillion won.
Madison Huang is expected to visit Seoul on Nov. 9-10 for Nvidia AI Day Seoul 2026 at Coex, marking her fourth trip to Korea in 2026, although she is not scheduled to speak and no meetings with Korean executives have been confirmed. Nvidia is deepening Korean cooperation in physical AI, with LG Group, Doosan Group and Hyundai Motor Group advancing robotics, AI factories and future mobility, while LG Electronics' CLOiD was featured during Huang's August data-factory visit.
