Agility Robotics has named UK-based Nyobolt as the battery technology partner behind Digit 5's nine-minute charging system, enabling a 90-minute runtime per charge (10:1 ratio, up from Digit 4's 2:1) and supporting a target of more than 20 working hours per day. Battery capacity, charging power and cycle-life data were not disclosed, with early access expected in the first half of 2027.
Agility Robotics has moved closer to listing on Nasdaq under the ticker AGLT after the SEC declared effective the Form S-4 registration statement for its $2.5 billion SPAC merger with Churchill Capital Corp XI, with a shareholder vote scheduled for November 2. The transaction would deliver more than $620 million in gross proceeds, including roughly $424 million from Churchill XI's trust and about $200 million from a Foxconn-led PIPE, to fund Digit 5 production and deployments.
At its October 6, 2026 Investor Day, Agility disclosed that Digit 5 will launch with a ~$150,000 bill of materials (up from Digit 4's ~$125,000), yielding ~50% product margins under RaaS, scaling to ~75% at 10,000 units/year with a $30,000 target BOM. The company detailed that its $300M, 1,000-robot order unlocks in tranches as Digit 5 proves each use case, with three years of service spread over four, and pushed general availability to end of 2027 / early 2028. Agility also outlined using sub-10% debt to fund its RaaS fleet separately from its ~$8M annual capex, ahead of closing its $2.5B SPAC merger with Churchill Capital Corp XI under ticker AGLT.
