Amazon Web Services has launched an open-source Physical AI Toolchain that combines AWS services with NVIDIA's Physical AI software stack (Isaac Sim, Isaac Lab, Isaac GR00T, Cosmos) into a single end-to-end workflow covering synthetic data generation, model training, simulation, edge deployment and continuous improvement. The hardware-neutral toolchain is intended to let roboticists focus on solving problems rather than building infrastructure, with lessons drawn from Amazon's own fleet of more than 1 million robots and its Vulcan tactile-sensing system.
NVIDIA announced Cosmos 3 Edge, a 4-billion-parameter model built on Nemotron that brings real-time vision reasoning and robot policy deployment to Jetson Thor edge systems, along with new Metropolis libraries that speed vision AI agent development by at least 6x. More than 20 Japanese robotics and manufacturing leaders intend to join the NVIDIA Cosmos Coalition, while Fujitsu, FANUC, Yaskawa Electric, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, NEC, Hitachi, OMRON, SoftBank Corp., Mujin, Kubota and others described initiatives spanning collaborative industrial control, world models, smart buildings, agriculture and retail automation.
