Huisi Kaiwu is the world's first universal embodied AI platform, launched in March 2025 by Beijing's National-Local Co-built Embodied Intelligent Robot Innovation Center. Using a 'one-brain, multi-robot' architecture, it enables robotic arms, wheeled robots, and humanoid robots to perform complex tasks across industrial, commercial, and residential environments.

The World Humanoid Robot Games featured both track/field competitions testing physical performance limits and scenario competitions evaluating real-world task execution capabilities. Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center dominated by winning 15 gold, 12 silver and 18 bronze medals with four robots, demonstrating the effectiveness of their platform approach combining 'Embodied Tiangong' ontology with 'Huisi Kaiwu' embodied intelligence software.
At the 2nd World Humanoid Robot Games in Beijing, the Tiangong Ultra robot developed by the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Centre completed the 100-meter dash in 9.39 seconds, numerically surpassing Usain Bolt's human world record of 9.58 seconds. The robot also set records in the 400-meter run (37.7s) and standing high jump (2.8843m), while Unitree Robotics finished last in preliminaries at 12.41 seconds and apologized for limited preparation due to focus on mass-produced products. Unitree Robotics recently went public on the Shanghai Stock Exchange with a market capitalization of approximately ¥8 trillion ($50.3 billion).
X-Humanoid presented a roadmap at ROSCon China 2026 for a unified embodied model and self-evolving robot policies, with the 'Pelican' project positioned as a step toward unifying a world model and simulator. The announcement frames the company's vision for a common foundation that supports continuously improving robot policies.
