RoboParty, a Shanghai startup founded by Yi Huang in early 2025, published the complete hardware and software design stack for its 1.35-meter RP1 humanoid on GitHub, including SolidWorks CAD, fabrication-ready Gerber files for 14 custom PCBs, PartyOS firmware and deployment repositories, and Isaac Lab training workflows. The release is limited by the omission of embedded ROMOMO actuator firmware, the CC BY-NC 4.0 license on the UFO motion-learning framework, and a lack of RL tasks or deployment guide for the 30-DoF Pro, while performance figures remain manufacturer-reported and Chinese data-law obligations apply. The company previously raised approximately ¥500 million (about $74.9 million) in a CATL-led Pre-A round with backing from Xiaomi, SenseTime, and Shunwei Capital.
Unitree Robotics released a demonstration video of the H2-X humanoid robot, showcasing Kung Fu movements, knife-blocking bodyguard scenarios, car lifting for rescue, and emergency evasion. The robot is built on the existing H2 platform and is stated to have a maximum battery life of approximately 8 hours, compared to 3 hours for the standard H2, though complete hardware specifications and test conditions were not disclosed.
Unitree Robotics debuted the H2-X in a demonstration featuring dynamic movements, knife blocking, car lifting, and intervention in dangerous vehicle situations. The H2 derivative is rated for up to about eight hours of battery life while standing, but Unitree withheld its price, launch plans, major hardware specifications, autonomy details, and the conditions behind the demonstration.
