Kawasaki Heavy Industries plans to deploy its Kaleido humanoid powered by Noetra's physical AI platform around 2030, making it the first planned adopter of Noetra's technology. Initial operations will combine remote human control with AI, with autonomous capabilities expanding gradually; Kawasaki's longer-term ambition is tens of thousands of robots in operation by 2040, spanning humanoids, wheeled machines, quadrupeds, and hospital transport robots.
Kawasaki Heavy Industries plans to release a fully autonomous humanoid AI robot as soon as 2030. The robot, called Kaleido, has been in development since 2015 and will incorporate a physical AI platform being built in Japan. The announcement comes amid a broader trend of Japanese robotics companies ramping up automation efforts.
