Pudu expands beyond service robots into semi-humanoids and quadrupeds
Pudu Robotics is expanding beyond its established commercial service robot business into semi-humanoids and quadrupeds, demonstrating the new machines at IFA 2026 in Berlin. The company's D7 industrial semi-humanoid uses 23 joints in its arms, waist and head to lift up to 20 kg, while the D5-W quadruped combines wheels and articulated legs to carry up to 30 kg. Pudu also showed the CC1 Pro autonomous cleaning robot, which evaluates its own cleaning results and returns to areas needing additional work.

At the 2026 World Robot Conference (WRC 2026), Pudu Robotics showcased its PUDU D5 quadruped robot completing an autonomous navigation challenge and the semi-humanoid PUDU D7 serving as a photographer volunteer at JD.com's booth. The D5 was demonstrated with capabilities for firefighting, power grid inspection, and industrial applications, while the company highlighted its four product lines spanning service delivery, commercial cleaning, industrial delivery, and embodied intelligence, with over 130,000 cumulative shipments across 85 countries.
