SiMa.ai raised a $150 million Series C at a $1.45 billion valuation, co-led by Fidelity and Amplify, to scale its edge-AI chip platform and Palette Neat software for humanoids, drones, and automotive customers looking to leave Nvidia behind. The company claims its pin-compatible module delivers roughly twice the performance of Nvidia's Jetson Orin at one-fifth the power, while its next-generation hardware targeting 1,000 dense TOPS is slated for the first half of 2028, leaving a notable gap versus Nvidia's already-shipping Jetson Thor.
