Reservoir acquires Contain to scale agtech startups

Reservoir Co. has made its first-ever corporate acquisition by purchasing agriculture finance and data platform Contain Inc. The Reno, Nev.-based company's founder, Nicola Kerslake, has been appointed as a general partner and will chair Reservoir VC's investment committee, overseeing underwriting functions as the firm expands into agricultural equipment and controlled environment agriculture.
