Nvidia and LG Forge Physical AI Alliance to Build Humanoid Robots, AI Factories
Nvidia and LG Group signed a strategic memorandum of understanding on August 13, 2024, at Nvidia's Santa Clara headquarters to collaborate on humanoid robots, AI factories, and autonomous vehicle platforms. LG plans to unveil a bipedal humanoid robot in Q1 2027 powered by Nvidia's Isaac GR00T foundation model and Jetson Thor platform, followed by an 80-megawatt AI factory in Cheonan, South Korea by H1 2028.
