Foundation, an Eric Trump-backed robotics startup founded in 2024, has secured a $24 million Pentagon contract to test its Phantom MK-1 battle robot with U.S. defense forces. The company has deployed around 10 humanoid robots and leases them for $100,000 per robot per year for industrial and military programs, while also adjusting its supply chain to comply with U.S. bans on imported humanoid robots.
