Fundomo is a venture capital firm. Its humanoid robotics portfolio includes Tutor Intelligence.
Round size: $34M
Avatar Robotics raised $6.5 million in a seed financing round led by AlleyCorp to deploy semi-humanoid robots in logistics, manufacturing, and warehousing operations. The San Francisco-based startup, founded by MIT graduates in 2024, uses a human-in-the-loop model where remote operators control robots while collecting data to train autonomy software for future full automation.
Reimagine Robotics emerged from stealth with robots that learn on the job through a 'monkey-see, monkey-do' approach, allowing workers to demonstrate tasks, watch the robot attempt them, and correct mistakes in real time. The London and Sydney-based startup, founded by former Google DeepMind Applied Robotics team members, has already deployed robots in advanced manufacturing and electronics disassembly facilities, reducing robot behavior prototyping time from approximately one day to about 10 minutes.
Tutor Intelligence is set to unveil AI-powered case packing research at PACK EXPO East, framed as a way to lower automation costs.
