Donut Robotics is a Japanese robotics company that develops the Cinnamon 1 humanoid robot, designed for factory and construction labor assistance as well as service tasks in schools and hospitals across Japan. Founded in 2014 in Kitakyushu and headquartered in Tokyo, the company originally built smart communication devices including the C-Face smart mask. Under CEO Taisuke Ono, Donut is now scaling toward broader global humanoid robot development, with the Cinnamon platform currently in pilot deployments.
