Cyberdyne

Cyberdyne is a Japanese robotics company that develops the Hybrid Assistive Limb (HAL), a powered wearable exoskeleton that reads bioelectric signals from the wearer's nervous system to amplify and assist movement. HAL is deployed across medical rehabilitation, elderly care, heavy industrial work, and disaster-response scenarios, making Cyberdyne one of the earliest commercial producers of lower-body and full-body exoskeletons. The company also operates treatment centers in Japan where HAL-powered therapy is used for patients recovering from stroke and spinal cord injuries.
