CloudMinds Technology develops cloud-connected intelligent service robots through its HARIX platform, which combines a secure virtual backbone network with on-board intelligence to enable real-time robot control and AI processing. Founded in 2015 by Bill Huang and headquartered in Shanghai and Beijing, the company produces reception, delivery, cleaning, patrol, and digital human avatar robots deployed across restaurants, hotels, and supermarkets. Backed by approximately $727 million in total funding including a $300 million SoftBank Vision Fund investment, CloudMinds holds over 1,800 patents covering its cloud robotics architecture, making it one of the more capital- and IP-intensive players in the Chinese service robotics sector.
