Simbe Robotics is a retail automation company founded in 2014 by Brad Bogolea, Mirza Akbar Shah, and Jeff Gee, headquartered in Burlingame, California. The company develops autonomous robots and AI software for retail inventory management, with its flagship Tally robot performing automated shelf audits for out-of-stock items, pricing errors, and misplaced products. Tally can scan 15,000 to 30,000 products per hour and is deployed across thousands of retail locations in 10 countries. Simbe Robotics has raised $105 million in funding including a $50 million Series C in 2024, backed by Goldman Sachs and Venrock.
