Octopus Power (章鱼动力, English brand: SynapX) is a Chinese embodied AI startup founded in January 2026 by Du Dalong, the 6th founding employee of Horizon Robotics. The company focuses on brain-hand integrated robotics — developing a general physical AI brain, general bionic rope-driven dexterous hands, and embodied data collection solutions — and achieved unicorn status within seven months of founding, backed by Horizon Robotics, Hillhouse Capital, Xiaomi, and Shunwei Capital.
