Li Auto Robotics is the humanoid robotics division of Li Auto Inc. (NASDAQ: LI), a Chinese smart EV manufacturer, established in early 2026 as part of a major internal AI restructuring. Operating under the internal codename "Nexus," the division develops full-stack humanoid robot hardware and software by leveraging significant technological overlap with Li Auto's autonomous driving platform. CEO Li Xiang has stated that building humanoid robots is a 100% certainty and positioned the robotics effort as central to Li Auto's ambition to become a leading global AI company.
