HD Hyundai Robotics (formerly Hyundai Robotics) is South Korea's leading industrial robot manufacturer, with roots going back to 1984 within Hyundai Heavy Industries and incorporated as an independent company in 2020 under the HD Hyundai Group. The company produces industrial robot arms, collaborative robots, and clean robots for automotive, shipbuilding, electronics, and battery industries, and is the parent of Boston Dynamics following a $1.1B acquisition from SoftBank completed in June 2021.
