Rhoda AI is a Palo Alto-based humanoid robotics startup founded in 2024 by Jagdeep Singh (founder of QuantumScape and Infinera) and Stanford professor Gordon Wetzstein, developing a general-purpose bimanual manipulation platform and foundational robotics models trained on large-scale internet video data. The company exited stealth in March 2026 with a $450 million Series B led by Premji Invest, reaching a $1.7 billion valuation, and unveiled its Direct Video-Action (DVA) model designed to bridge the gap between lab robots and real-world deployment. Rhoda plans to license its software platform to industrial customers while also developing its own humanoid hardware.
